DENVER CO, March 5, 2011 – The professional staff with DENVER HEARING AIDS in Denver CO, recently completed BestSound™ Technology training hosted by Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc., the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of hearing aids. Held at Siemens headquarters in Piscataway, N.J., January 20-23, 2011, the program offered information on the latest developments in hearing aid technology and software and ways to provide patients with the best possible hearing experience. Approximately 36 million American adults report some degree of hearing loss. Only about 15 percent of people with hearing loss wear hearing aids. Hearing Care Professionals from around the country gathered to study the latest hearing device advancements utilizing Siemens patented BestSound™ Technology and provide the optimum balance between better hearing and sound comfort.
The program included updates on the latest hearing aid advances and research with focus on the latest in adaptive and automatic directional microphone technology. In addition, information related to practice management and hearing aid verification and validation procedures were presented. Attendees also participated in hands-on sessions with the newest advanced digital hearing aids and hearing aid programming software.
The hearing care professionals of Denver Hearing aids had the chance to learn new techniques and technologies found in the Siemens Pure and Siemens Motion hearing aids. For participating in the program, the staff received continuing education credits from the International Institute for Hearing Instrument Studies.
