The Power of Respect

Deborah Norville, anchor of Inside Edition, in an interview with Bottom Line Secrets™, says that giving respect is a key way to encourage others.  With respect from others, one’s self-worth increases.  It changes their outlook on life.  Showing others respect also improves our own outlook on life.

As Ms. Norville states, “Don’t take family for granted. . . .”  Show your respect and gratitude to them.

Encourage them with your respect.  You’ll feel better for it, too.

When someone feels left out of conversations, especially someone with a hearing loss, they begin to withdraw from social situations.  They begin to lose self-worth and self-respect.

Hearing aids create a life changing event to make conversations easier so that one can be more connected with their family and friends.  Hearing aids change life experiences from a sensory deprivation to a greater ability to be part of their social structure.

If your family member has an untreated hearing problem, encourage them to seek appropriate help.  Hearing aids are effective in promoting the enjoyment of life to the fullest and to sustain their self-worth and self-esteem.
